Maria Sanchez

Maria Elsa Sanchez (65) passed from this life July 2, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. She entered this life April 24, 1957, to Lucio and Ana Maria (Sotelo) Dominguez, in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. Maria married Eduwiges Sanchez February 24, 1973. Together, they had 4 children, Yesenia, Abigail, Ruben Isacar, and Jaaziel Neftali. While Eduwiges made his life as a carpenter, Maria made her life as a homemaker, caring for their children and her husband. Maria loved cooking, gardening, and later in life, babysitting. She and her husband are of the Jehovah Witness faith.

Maria was preceded in death by her father and mother, a sister, Ortencia Dominguez and a brother, Hector Dominguez. Those left to cherish her memory and cary on her legacy are her husband, Eduwiges and their children, Yesnia Sanchez, Abigail Sanchez, Ruben Isacar Sanchez, and Jaaziel Neftali Sanchez.

A visitation, to honor the life of Maria, is scheduled for Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 10:00am until 3:00pm. The family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. Abigail Sanchez will give a special “thank you” to all who come to the visitation; to all the guest’s who came and expressed their love and support to the family in their time of loss.
