Mark Adams, Sr.

Mark Charles Adams, Sr., 62, of Lubbock went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, May 9, 2022. He was born October 15, 1959, to Don and Helen Adams in Watertown, South Dakota. Mark graduated from Hamlin High School in 1977. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. Mark married Beulah "Bootsy" Adams on December 31, 1987. He worked as a foreman for All State Fencing Supply for over 30 years. He was a member of New Horizon Baptist Church.

Mark loved his wife, kids, and especially his grandchildren. He was a deacon, a prayer warrior, and a dedicated servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mark volunteered for Texas Baptist Disaster Relief, helping clean out flooded and burnt homes and tornado and hurricane damaged homes. Mark was a loving husband, father, grandfather, an outdoorsman, and a servant to all.

Mark is survived by his wife, Beulah "Bootsy" Adams; son, Mark Adams, Jr. "Marcus" and wife Mica; daughter, Angela Beavers and husband Marcos; grandchildren, Ridge Adams, Rylee Adams, TyShawn Fillmore, and Zaihne Fillmore; mother-in-law, Anna Pauline Steele; and siblings, Carol Wolman (Denny), Roxane Towels (Allen), Rory Adams (Cheryl), Rick Adams (Donna), and Donald Adams, Jr.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Don and Helen Adams; son, Andrew Fotopulos, IV; and granddaughter, Lakeshia Williams.

The family would like to thank their church family and Hospice of Lubbock.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 14, 2022, at New Horizon Baptist Church.
