Marta Munoz

Marta Estela Munoz, 67, passed away October 9, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born June 9, 1955, to Hisidro and Zulema (Medrano) Munoz, in Sunnyside, Washington. Marta graduated from Estacado High School, Lubbock. She went on to become a secretary and a cook, while raising her 3 sons, John, Oscar, and Jose. Marta was a Christian at heart; she loved her children and enjoyed thrift shopping.

Marta was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hisidro and Zulema. Those remaining to cherish her memories are her 3 sons, John Caleb Lewis, of Florida, Oscar Martinez, and Jose Gabriel Martinez, both of Lubbock.

A memorial service, to cherish the memories and honor the life of Marta, will be held at Combest Memorial Chapel, 2210 Broadway, Friday, October 14, 2022, at 10:00AM. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes.
