Mary Evelyn Geiger was called to dance with the Lord to all of her favorite Elvis songs on November 15, 2021.
On November 29, 1945 she was born to Elmer Dell & Willie Mae Robinson in Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as a roller-skating carhop, a waitress at the Rexall Drug Store with her sister LaVerne, and finally as a nurse from 1969 until her retirement in 2005.

In her later years, she was a proud resident of Lubbock Hospitality Nursing Home, winning numerous accolades such as Prom Queen and Resident of the Month countless times. She was a fierce bingo champion, crafts aficionado, fashion enthusiast and movie buff during her time there.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lewis Christian, her brother Robert, sisters LaVerne and Betty, and sons Robert James and Chris. She is survived by her brother Bill, her daughters Cindy Holmes and Donna Harmon, sons-in-law Jeff Holmes and Tom Harmon, and grandchildren Kristin & Matthew Holmes, Chelsie Harmon, & Joseph Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Services for those wishing to celebrate Mary will begin with a visitation at 9 AM and service at 10 AM on Saturday November 20, 2021 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel located at 2210 Broadway, Lubbock with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
