November 8, 1937 — November 29, 2024

Maudane Linch Allen was born on November 8, 1937, to William and Vesta (Hare) Linch in Iredell, Texas. She peacefully departed this life on November 29, 2024, in Lubbock, Texas.

A proud graduate of Iredell High School, Class of 1956, Maudane embraced life with passion and purpose. On December 1, 1958, she married the love of her life, Milton Allen, in Dallas, Texas. Together, they nurtured a deep bond through their shared interests in music, photography, and community service.

Maudane dedicated several years to her career at the Army and Air Force Exchange, excelling in various roles until her retirement in 1997. Alongside Milton, she established a photography business in Duncanville, Texas, capturing cherished moments from community sporting events and special milestones. Their commitment to their community extended beyond business; they brought joy to nursing home residents by performing music with a small group of friends.

Maudane's family was her greatest treasure, and her warmth and spirit will be profoundly missed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton Allen; her sons, Brian "Keith" Allen and Brad Lee Allen; and her sister, Grace Sinclair.
