Melba Sue Roby Berry

Melba Sue Roby Berry, 78, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on Sunday, July 23,
2023. Melba was born on October 26, 1944, in Borger, TX, to Elsie Messenger and
Toney Roby.

Melba married Gene Berry of Lubbock, TX on September 8, 2017, in Amarillo,
TX.

Melba was a hard worker, who loved to socialize and spend time with her friends
and family. She was very dedicated to the ones she loved. She was a member of
South Park Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Cecil Eugene Berry; one
daughter, Tracy Haynes of Lubbock, TX; one son, Terry Moore of Lubbock; one
sister, Nora Burris of Muleshoe, TX; one step-brother, Reggie Selman of
Alamogordo, NM; two grandchildren, Donovan Powell (Bekah) of Lubbock, TX,
and Neil Young of Lubbock, TX; and three great-grandchildren, Tristan Powell,
Jaxon Powell, and Olivia Powell. She was preceded in death by her mother Elsie
Messenger, father Toney Roby; and two brothers, Darrell Selman, and Lonnie
Roby.
