Melodi P. Boivin came into this world on April 17,2002. She was a beautiful, talented young woman. She was a co-captain on her color guard team in high school. Melodi had many talents, for instance she had a beautiful singing voice, she was an exceptional writer of short stories, and she was an amazing baker as well. Melodi was planning on attending Texas Tech for the fall of 2023 to major in criminal psychology. She always wanted to make a difference in the world with whatever she put her mind to. She was a loving, caring, and devoted daughter, wife, sister, mother, aunt, and friend anyone could ask for. She always went above and beyond for anyone that came into her life. She always wanted to fix everyone else's problems even if she had her own.
Melodi attended Estacado High School where she met her best friend Erma Garcia in band camp her freshman year and from then on Erma became family. Melodi married her high school sweetheart Xavier Caballero in April 2022. Melodi became a mom on Sept. 2,2020 to Marcellus Boivin and was the happiest she had ever been in her life, then she had Lezlie Caballero on Sept. 24, 2021. Her life was suddenly complete. Melodi found out that she was expecting another child in November 2023, his name is Jaxson Caballero. Her and Xavier were so excited to be welcoming another child later this year. Melodi graduated from Reese Education center in 2022 with Marcel and Lezlie by her side! Melodi was loved by many, every time she walked into a room smiling, she always lit the whole room up! Melodi had a strange and weird sense of humor even at the wrong times just to make people smile. Her and her brother Dakota were like two peas in a pod when it came to making jokes, or even taking care of their mother Jennifer. Melodi was the strongest of her siblings, she was like the oldest even though she was the middle child, she still looked after her sisters and brother even when they didn’t need it.
Melodi left this world to be with our Lord and Savior on May 6, 2023, alongside her husband Xavier, and her two children Marcel and Lezlie in Lubbock, Texas.
