On the morning of Saturday, July 19, 2025, Dawson went to be with the Lord. He was born on August 25, 2000, in Carrollton, Texas to Michael Cody Glover and Autumn Leeanne Boswell. Later in life he met the Love of His Life, Tara Conner of Slaton, TX and they had two beautiful children, Michael “Oakley” Glover and Riverlynn Ann Glover, who were the apple of his eye. Dawson was a devoted father, talented tradesman, and devoted friend. His life touched many throughout his journey, leaving a permanent mark on the hearts and lives of those who had the privilege to know him.
A proud graduate of Tahoka High School in 2019, Dawson embraced life with an infectious smile & spirit that radiated through everything that he did. He had and entrepreneurial spirit like his mother and was pursuing his passions in irrigation, the fire academy and just opened his own motorcycle shop and had a dream to open a Motorcycle School, as he absolutely loved to teach and train others to ride, stunt, and build motorcycles. The young men & women in his Motorcycle Tribe, and many others far and wide admired his abilities, dedication, work ethic and unmatched talent when it came to anything to do with a motorcycle. They often spoke of his ability to tackle difficult motorcycle challenges. Dawson was always the 1st one to step-up and help ANY rider in any situation in the community, no matter the problem. His determination, dedication and true love for bikes inspired those around him. Each bike in his collection told a story—and was a testament to his creativity and the friendships he nurtured through his interests.
Beyond his professional achievements, dreams and ambitions, Dawson found true joy & happiness in keeping things simple and just truly loving life. He had a profound love for working with his hands, he never sat still and was always tinkering with something in the garage usually with his mini me, “Oakley” by his side. He cherished that time. Dawson's greatest joy, however, was undoubtedly his children. He devoted countless hours to spending time with them, intricately weaving their lives together with adventures, laughter, and always including them in some type of project he was working on, whether in the garage or around the house. His approach to parenting was unorthodox but always seemed to work. He always gave his unwavering love and support which fostered an environment where his children thrived under his guidance and affection. Every moment he shared with his kids was a treasure, a blessing, and a true gift. We know that he is never far away and will be watching over them always. Dawson's warmth and kindness extended beyond his family and career. Friends knew him as a loyal confident, always ready to lend a hand, a smile or a listening ear. Dawson had a unique ability to make everyone feel valued, loved and often bringing people together and bridge the gap if there was one. The bonds he formed throughout his life mirrored the careful craftsmanship he brought to his work and hobbies.
As we remember Michael “Dawson” Glover, we celebrate a life lived with defined purpose, passion, and most importantly love. His legacy is woven into the hearts of his children and all who had the honor of calling him a son, brother, husband, dad and most importantly a friend. While he may no longer be with us here on earth, his spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts and we Thank God that this is not Goodbye, but rather we will see you again!
