Micky Calvin Applegate

Micky Calvin Applegate of Lubbock passed away on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at the age of 51. He was born March 15, 1963 in Lubbock to the late Fred and Frances (Copeland) Applegate.  Micky graduated from Idalou High School and went on to college.  He worked as a dog groomer. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Justin Applegate of Lubbock; daughter, Deidra McDonald and husband Jeffery of Phoenix, AZ; significant other, Janice Abbitt and her children Amanda England and Annalea Gubino; three brothers, Fred Applegate, Jr., Jack Applegate and Rick Applegate; and one sister, Shirley Vazenia.

Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15, 2014 at Southcrest Baptist Church.
