Nancy Wilson

Nancy Lee Wilson, 84, of Lubbock, Texas, went home to be with the Lord at 11:54 a.m. on Sunday, December 12, 2021, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-- and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8

Nancy was born on June 27, 1937, in Kokomo, IN to the late Charles R. Guge & Lillie Belle Creamer Guge Lytle. She married Arthur Lynn Wilson on June 21, 1958, in Kokomo and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2012. Nancy was a member of the Sunset Church of Christ of Lubbock, TX and was very active in the ministries of the church and received a certificate of Biblical studies from Sunset School of Preaching.

Survivors include those that she loved spending her life with, her children: Bob Wilson, Becky (Westley) Trueblood, and Kathy (Jeff)Toppe all of Brownstown, Dennis (Theresa) Wilson and Michael (Katya) Wilson both of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren: Bob (Kaelee) Wilson II, Adam (Treasure) Trueblood, Kaleb (Romy) Trueblood, Karlei (Chris) Metcalf, Karcyn Trueblood, John (Danielle) McCrary, Josh (Maren) McCrary, Kyle (Alicia) McCrary, Blake (Haileigh) McCrary, Valerie (Tyler) Nagle-Perkins, Rex Wilson, Abigail Wilson, Matthew Wilson, Katrina Wilson, & Sonya Wilson; 23 great grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, Charles "Joe" Guge, and 2 sisters, Connie Lunsford & Susan Galbreath.

Visitation for Nancy's friends and family was held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021, from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Home, Vallonia, IN. A visitation will be held in Lubbock on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 from 9am unil 11:30am at Combest Family Funeral Home. Funeral services in Lubbock, Texas will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at 2pm at Sunset Church of Christ. Burial will take place at Resthaven Memorial Park, Lubbock, TX. Memorial contributions may be given to Sunset International Bible Institute Deaf Ministry Program, 3723 34th St. Lubbock, TX 79410.
