Noble Dean Miller (76) passed away Friday, July 16, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. Noble was born August 3, 1945, to George Herbert and Mollie Moena (Crow) Miller in Littlefield TX. He graduated high school in Spring Lake, TX in 1963. After graduation, Noble joined the United States Air Force where he worked his way up to Sergeant. After being honorable discharged from military service, Noble began working at Texas Instruments, in Lubbock. He worked with the for more than 20 years, until they closed their doors. Noble then went to work for the City Of Lubbock until retirement.

Noble was a devoted Christian; he volunteered at the Exodus Prison Ministry. Noble enjoyed taking his grandkids to the movies and when they were younger, taking them to McDonald’s so they could play. He also enjoyed watching movies (he loved watching all his DVD’s) and playing dominos. Noble may have been small in stature, but he was big in kindness and was the sweetest man one would ever met; “we couldn’t have asked for a better dad and granddad.

Noble was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Mollie Heard and Wanda Hall, and 3 brothers, Herbert, Harvey, and Gary. Those left to cherish his memories are a daughter, Kayla Strum, 3 grandkids, Chloe, Zoe, and Brody Shrum, all his grand-dogs, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes.
