Noemi Brito, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away surrounded by the love of her family and the faith that guided her life. She was born in Alice, TX, to Santana and Francisca Gonzales.

Noemi was a woman of many talents, gifted with a beautiful voice and the ability to play multiple instruments. Her love for music was a reflection of her joyful spirit and her devotion to serving others. As a dedicated pastor’s wife, she spent her life actively involved in church ministries and missionary work, always ready to lend a hand, offer encouragement, or share her faith. She had a special gift for bringing people together, especially through her cooking. Noemi’s kitchen was a place of warmth, laughter, and love, where everyone felt welcome. Her feisty personality, strong will, and boundless energy made her unforgettable to all who knew her. Above all, Noemi was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her greatest blessing, and she took immense pride in nurturing, guiding, and loving them every step of the way.

Noemi will be remembered for her faith, her passion, her music, and the deep love she shared with her family and community. Her spirit will live on through the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her son, Samuel (Melissa) Brito of Lubbock, TX; grandchildren, Christopher (Andrea) Brito, Alyssa (Beau) Brito-Yara, Kristen (Randy) Garcia, and Autumn (Michael Sr.) Garcia; great grandchildren, Christian (Lexee) Rodriguez, Christopher Rey, Anthony Olgin, Asher Yara, Aubriella Moreno, and Michael Guadagnoli Jr.; great great granddaughter, Isabella Rodriguez; and sisters, Olga Chamberlain of Midland, TX, Janie Visitation of Seattle, WA, and Vivian (Thomas) Arguello of Plainview, TX.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Brito, parents, Santana and Francisca Gonzales, sister, Leonora Torres, and brother, Paul Gonzales.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, October 17, 2025, at 4 PM at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.
