Pamela Sue Parker, 48, of Lubbock, passed away on Monday evening, October 2, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Pamela was born on April 13, 1975, in Pittsburg, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, to Donna Lee Downey and the late John Louis Wickstrom, Jr.
She attended and graduated from high school in El Paso, and then went on to receive her associates degree in marketing.
Pamela met the love of her life, Ric Parker, and they were married on April 1, 2009, in El Paso, Texas.
Pamela was a Personal Chef, who loved to cook and people thoroughly enjoyed receiving her delicious meals. Cooking was her all time hobby and devotion, but she adored her family and loved her grandchildren very much. She worked as a Chef at various restaurants in El Paso and owned and operated, along with her husband Ric, Parkers Place in Lubbock from 2011 to 2013. She also had a green thumb and loved to garden.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Ric; her mother, Donna Downey of Lubbock; four sons: Eric Wickstrom of Ft. Riley, Kansas, Nicholas Wickstrom of Lubbock, Timothy Wickstrom of Ft. Worth and Matthew Wickstrom of Lubbock; one stepsister, Tracey Pugh of Franklin, Virginia, and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father; one brother, John Louis Wickstrom, III and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
No services are planned for Pamela at this time.
