The world lost a beautiful soul on the morning of August 8th. Pamela (Pam) Greene Storey went to meet her Lord and Savior after a courageous battle with her health.
Pam was a loving wife, mom, dog mom, dog grandma, sister and friend. A self-proclaimed hippie chick, Pam had a tremendous green thumb and loved tending to her plants and garden with her husband. She loved all things in nature, taking her pups for walks in the local parks, gathering feathers, sticks and following the energy of the moon. She loved the symbolic nature of birds and never turned down a good sunset. Pam loved attending concerts; she loved rock ‘n’ roll, country and anything that would make her feet move. She always had music playing to the likes of Tom Petty, Def Leppard, Tesla, Dwight Yoakum, Bad Company and Joe Walsh.
Pam was a safe space for those she loved and always showed up when someone was in need of a friend. She had the best laugh and always looked for a reason to make others smile, feel important or validated.
Pam was born in Mount Clemens, Michigan to James M. Greene and Juanita Gayle Greene (Brown) on January 20th, 1962. Belonging to a military family, Pam lived in Michigan, South Carolina and Japan before her family settled in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Pam graduated from Eldorado High School in 1980. She met her husband, Woody, in 1989, and they married in 1992, blending their families into a household of five. After earning her medical assistant license, Pam worked at Dermatology Consultants, where she cared for many patients and formed lasting friendships with colleagues. She later devoted herself to caring for her home and family. Pam took great pride in both and worked tirelessly to ensure they were cared for to the best of her ability. In 2016, Pam and Woody moved to Clovis, NM.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Gayle Greene; her in-laws Eli and Mabel Storey; her beloved fur babies Winston, Shelley, Boone and Daisy; brother-in-law Willian ‘Ozzy’ Osment. Pam is survived by her loving husband Woody; her sweet fur babies Prince and Birdie; her beautiful daughters - Dana Nagle (Cory Laredo); Denille Storey (Josh Chavez); Lenell Storey (Donald Register); loyal sisters Sharon Coffin and Karen Osment; many nephews, nieces, cousins, and beloved friends.
Services will be held for Pam to celebrate her beautiful life. Those will be announced in coming weeks. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations in her name to the Lap Dog Rescue of New Mexico where she got her precious pups. Lapdogrescue.org
Please continue to pray for the family as we navigate a new life without Pam.
