Ramiro Perez Lopez

Ramiro Perez Lopez was born April 22, 1939, in Lubbock, Tx, to Jesus and Anita Lopez. In 1958, he married the love of his life, Teresa Solis Lopez and the two of them welcomed and raised three sons. On July 31st, 2025, he was delivered to the hands of his Savior, surrounded by his family. He was a Master of Carpentry, a passion he shared and taught to his sons and grandson. He loved to travel, read, sing, and play guitar. You could also catch him weekly at the golf course.

He is survived by his two sons, Johnny and Efrain Lopez, grandchildren, Benjamin Lopez, Alma Aussenac, and Parker and Cameron Lopez-Fournier, great grandchildren, Jonathan, Isaac, Mason and Marli Lopez, Malik and Aria Aussenac, and great great-grandchildren, Zayne Argullin and Juniper Lopez. He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed dearly. Yet they find comfort in knowing that, for the believer, death does nothing more than usher them into the presence of Jesus.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Lopez, son, Robert Lopez, his brothers, Roy, Pedro, Antonio, Ramon, and Ruben Lopez, and his sister Anita Badillo.

A visitation will be held for Ramiro on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, from 4-8 PM at Combest family Funeral Home Chapel along with a rosary from 7-8 PM. Service will take place at Our Lady of Grace on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, at 10 AM. A burial will follow the service at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
