Raymond Lopez Sosa, Jr. passed away February 20th, 2023 at the age of 59. He was born July 30th, 1963 in Lubbock Texas to Raymond H. Sosa Sr. and Carmen L. Sosa. He married Helen Sosa in 1984 and shared 38 years together. Raymond graduated from Lubbock High School in 1982. He was employed at Distribution International until cancer took over. Raymond was a hard worker he enjoyed painting houses, drawing, cooking, and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He will be remembered as a loving dad, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, nephew, and tio. Raymond is survived by his wife Helen Sosa; his children Vanessa Sosa, Matthew and Rebecca Herrera, Roman Sosa; his grandchildren Breauna, Elijah, Jeremiah, Urijah, and Gabriella; one great grandchild Kataleya; his sisters Chriselda and Martyselda; brother and sister in laws Ruben and Esmeralda Flores, George Lira, Rosie Lira, Nancy Grunstad, Ernestine Alonzo, Tommy Lira, and Christy Lira.
The family of Raymond Sosa will receive friends Friday, February 24, 2023 from 3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. in the Combest Family Memorial Chapel, 2210 Broadway, Lubbock, Texas 79401.
