Richard Rangel

Richard Rangel, 72, passed away April 3, 2026, in Lubbock, TX. He was born January 1, 1954, to Isaac and Dominga (Luna) Rangel in East Bernard, TX. Richard married Ernestine in March of 1971; to this union they had 2 boys, Marcus and Michael.

Richard was a Christian at heart, of the catholic faith, and a member of Our lady of Guadalupe, Lubbock.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Dominga Rangel, a brother Paul Rangel and a sister Dominga Martinez. Those remaining to carry on his legacy are his 2 sons, Marc Rangel and Mike Rangel, 6 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and Ernestine Diaz.

The family of Richard Rangel will honor his life with a mass at 2pm, May 1, 2026, at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Lubbock; a meal will follow. Arrangements were entrusted to Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
