Robert Lee Lopez Sr. - On April 21st we lost an amazing Husband, Dad, Grandfather, Father-in-Law, Brother, and Uncle, suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 60. Robert was born in Lubbock, TX on September 8, 1963, to Christoval Trevino Lopez and Margaret Navarette Lopez.
Robert married the true love of his life, Tammy Lopez on December 12, 1988, the mother of his three boys. He loved his boys and four grandchildren unconditionally and treasured the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Lynn Lopez; sons Robert Lee Lopez Jr. and wife Mersades, Daniel Ryan Lopez and wife Vanessa, Matthew Randy Lopez and wife Mirna; grandchildren Sariah Lopez, Michael Lopez, Paxton Lopez, and Lilian Lopez; mother-in-law Barbara Ann Smith; sisters Maria Lopez Strong, Norma Aranda and husband Sergio; brothers Chris Lopez, Daniel Lopez, and many special nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents Christoval and Margaret Lopez; and sister Deborah Lopez.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 3:00p.m., at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church. (2304 Cedar Ave, Lubbock, TX 79404)
