Roy Chester Gee

Roy Chester Gee, 64, of Lubbock, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday evening, January 3, 2025. Chester was born on March 24, 1961, in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas, to the late Johnnie Gee, Jr. and Selida (Griffing) Gee.

Chester has been a long time resident of the Lubbock State Supported Living Center (LSSLC) since he was a small child. His brother, Johnny Gee, also resides with him at the LSSLC.

He works in the shop at LSSLC and enjoys talking to people. He loves anything about jeeps, army stuff and the color green. Chester was a very happy person and with a great disposition. He was a lover of snacks, especially chips and Goldfish, and water so he can mix the red crystals in it to make flavored water/

Those left to honor and cherish his memories includes his legal guardian, Stephanie Anderson; his brother, Johnny Gee of Lubbock; an aunt, Bertha Acy of Clovis, New Mexico. He is also survived by all the staff and residents of the LSSLC, who came to love and adore him.

Cremation arrangements and services are pending with Combest Family Funeral Home and Crematory.
