Lubbock
Ruth McCausland of Lubbock passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at the age of 89. She was born on August 24, 1936 in Erick, Oklahoma to John Tolbert and Dora (Mosteller) O'Connor. On May 24, 1956 she married William McCausland. The family settled in Lubbock in 1976, where she dedicated 20 years of service to Texas Instruments before retiring.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Mary Rollo, William C. McCausland, Jr., and Claud Dewayne McCausland, all of Lubbock. She was a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
A Graveside Service to honor Ruth's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, February 23, 2026, at Resthaven Memorial Park.
