Schuana Maurice Vandever

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Schuana Maurice Vandever, who left this world peacefully on May 20, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 7, 1963, Schuana filled her years with love, adventure, and a genuine zest for life. A resident of Lubbock, Texas, she had an innate appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors, often found casting a line on the water or hiking through the trails. Schuana's spirit was particularly nourished by her love for her dog and her passion for caring for children.

Her warmth, compassion, and laughter created a nurturing environment that touched the lives of many. She was a devoted mother to her son, Lance Vandever, who will forever cherish the memories of their shared moments spent in nature and the many lessons she imparted. She is survived by her sister Suzanne Morman. Proceeded by her Brother Ricky Offutt, and her sister Cindy Henson-Offutt.

A celebration of Schuana’s life will be held privately, where family will gather to honor her legacy. In this time of sorrow, let us also remember the joyous moments shared with Schuana—a true lover of life, nature, and the happiness she brought to others. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
