Selestino “Tino” Trevino III, born June 2, 1975, in Levelland, Texas, to Selestino Trevino Jr. and Otilla Rodriguez, passed away leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and generosity.
Tino was known for his fun-loving nature and spirited personality. He always had a joke, a witty comeback, or a playful remark ready for anyone who crossed his path. His sense of humor made him unforgettable and brought joy to those blessed to know him.
A devoted Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan, Tino never missed a chance to support his teams. He proudly wore his red socks on game days, convinced they brought good luck. He also cherished the time he spent playing darts with friends at the lodge, where his competitive spirit and humor always shined. He was proud to be a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Guadalupe, a role that reflected both his faith and his dedication to service.
Tino had a heart for helping others and would gladly lend a hand to anyone in need. His passion for cooking brought him immense happiness, eventually inspiring him to start his own business, named lovingly after his grandchildren, Madd Tina BBQ. Cooking wasn’t just a hobby for him; it was an act of love and his peace.
Above all, Tino’s greatest joy in life was his family. He was a proud grandfather, a devoted father, and an even more extraordinary partner to the love of his life, Veronica Martinez. His family was his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Tino is survived by his partner, Veronica Martinez; his children, Sydney Trevino, Paige Trevino, Paiton Trevino, Paisley Trevino, Angelica Parra(Gabriel), Alexis Martinez (Santos), and Avianna Martinez (Gabriel); his mother, Otila Rodriguez; his siblings, Jonnie (Sylvia) Trevino, Isabel Trevino, and Angie (Dustin) Trevino;10 beloved grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; cousin, Jacob Garcia; and fur babies.
He is preceded in death by his father, Selestino Trevino Jr., and his three angel grandchildren.
Tino’s legacy will live on through the laughter he inspired, the love he shared, and the countless memories held close by all who knew him. His spirit, humor, and kindness will never be forgotten.
