Seth Harold Lewis

Seth Harold Lewis passed away February 16, 2013 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.  He was born in Cottle County, Texas on August 7, 1923 to Jewel and Wilson Lewis. He worked with his dad as a cowboy on the 666 Ranch.  After moving to the Earth, Texas area in 1938, he attended Spring Lake School.  He entered the U.S. Army on November 22, 1940 at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas.  He served his country in Normandy and Northern France and was honorably discharged August 4, 1945.  He lived in Tahoka many years operating Lewis Electric, Lewis Construction Co., Charter Pilot/Crop Duster and Commercial Fisherman in South Texas.

Seth is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ferne; daughter, Sethen Moore; son, Gary Lewis; and two grandchildren, Kimberly Moore and Kyle Lewis.
