Sherry Martin Renfrew

Sherry Martin Renfrew of Lubbock passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the age of 64.  She was born on September 26, 1949 in Trion, Georgia to the late Robert and Lena (Brown) Martin. Before her retirement Sherry worked as a customer service representative in the insurance industry.

She was a member at Experience Life Church and enjoyed her time as a volunteer with the Kairos Prison Ministry and as a child sponsor for Compassion International.  Sherry was a former member of First Baptist Church in Seminole. 

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Robin Renfrew of Lubbock; brother, Ronald (Ronnie) Martin of Carrollton, Georgia; two sisters, Janet Kelley of Bowdon, Georgia and Joanne Ring of Columbia, Tennessee.

Viewing will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2013 with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Combest Family Funeral Home. Memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel. The family encourages casual attire for the service.
