Terry Cook

Terry Wayne Cook passed away Thursday, May 18, 2023, in Lubbock. He was born Monday, August 20, 1962, to Theodore and Cora (Lemons) Cook, in Idalou. After graduating high school, Terry went on to become a heavy equipment operator. He married Dianna Kaye (Lamb) Cook, on October 8, 1983, in Idalou. Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing, but he loved Jesus and was of the Church of Christ faith.

Terry was preceded in death by his father and mother, Theodore and Cora, and brothers Theodore Jr. and Skipper, and sisters Louise Lee and Virgie Rowan. Those left to cherish his many memories are his wife, Dianna, a sister, Pat Dewitt, his father-in-law Quincy Lamb and wife Linda, sisters-in law- Carla Lamb, Sabra Cook, and Sunni Lamb and her 2 children Nick and Brylee; 20 nieces and nephews, and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service, to honor the life and share the memories of Terry, is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27th, at 82nd St. and Ave. V Church of Christ, Lubbock

According to Terry’s wishes, cremation will be conducted under the direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
