Thelma Harrison of Bertram, Texas, formerly of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the age of 93.  She was born October 18, 1919 in Markley, Texas to Norman and Hettie (Gipson) Dunn.  She married Ray Harrison on October 19, 1935.  Thelma enjoyed painting ceramics, embroidering and singing.  She was an avid reader and looked forward to the blue bonnets coming into bloom.  Thelma was a devoted mother and grandmother that seldom missed an activity with them.

Those left to cherish her memory are six sons, George and wife Elizabeth of Albuquerque, NM, Kenneth and wife Carolyn of North Port, FL, Michael and wife Kathy of Douglas, AZ, Ronny and wife Mary of Sierra Vista, AZ, Jerry and wife Beatrice of Encino, NM, and Robert and wife Sarah of Lubbock; seven daughters, Tana Ballard and husband Troy of Bertram, TX, Barbara Bounds and husband Steve of Lubbock, Pearl Hunt of Montrose, CO, Deana Holocker and husband John of Quanah, Margaret Veuthey of Las Vegas, NV, Norma Ortiz and husband Modesto of Moriarty, NM, and Karen Clark of Roswell, NM; 46 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one daughter, Thelma Jewel; three sons-in-law; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel with interment to follow at the Idalou Cemetery.
