Thomas Kimbrell

Thomas Earnest Kimbrell was born October 4, 1946, to the late Thomas & Laverna Cogdill Kimbrell in Cairo, Illinois. He passed away peacefully at home on December 8, 2022, after losing his battle to cancer and is now in the arms of our Lord.

Tom worked as an Auto Body Technician until he retired in 2016. He loved watching westerns, car shows, and action-packed movies. He loved classic cars and trucks and had several over his lifetime.

Tom loved the interaction with his coworker’s day to day. He took pride in his work and worked hard all his life to provide for his family. He loved his family, and we will desperately miss him.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 50 years Sharon Nichols Kimbrell Lubbock, Texas, Son Matt Kimbrell Lubbock, Texas, Son James Kimbrell Monterey, California and brother Stan Kimbrell of Boynton Beach, Florida. He is also survived by four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
