Thomas Patrick Murin, 75, of Lubbock passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021. He was born January 4, 1945, in Pittsburg, PA to John Paul and Helen (Blazer) Murin. Thomas served in the United States Air Force. He married Nellie Chew in 1961 in Abilene, TX. Thomas was a mechanic and worked in civil service until he retired in 2012. He enjoyed restoring Mustangs and Lincolns.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Lisa Lawler of Lubbock; six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Murin; daughter, Sheeda Kuzmich Balkum; and son, Jeffery Daniel.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Dickson, Tennessee.
That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. Romans 10:9-10
