Thomas Russell

Thomas Wheeler Russell, 66, of Lubbock passed away Monday, February 27, 2023. He was born January 19, 1957 in Hutchinson County to Thomas J. Russell and Cynthia Armbruster. Thomas married Gina Kay Heald in Lubbock, Texas on November 2, 1984. Thomas was a journeyman electrician for many years before retiring in May of 2022.

Thomas not only loved providing for his family, but he also enjoyed providing for and helping others. When Thomas wasn’t busy working on house projects, or building wind turbines, he liked to read. He will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Gina Russell; two sons, Thomas A. Russell and his wife, Chelsea Russell, and Tyler Russell; and his sister, Kathy Wood.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas J. and Cynthia Russell.
