Timothy Bond, 33, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2026, in Lubbock as the result of a hit-and-run accident.
Timothy was born on May 9, 1992, in Lubbock, Texas, where he was raised by his mother, Melissa Bond. He is survived by his grandfather, Don Hughes of Cedar Hill, Texas. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Teresa Hughes of Lubbock, Texas, and his great-grandparents, Dr. Noel and Betty Williams of Shallowater, Texas.
Timothy lived a life full of movement, connection, and passion. He loved the open road and spent much of his life traveling across the country, finding adventure in every mile. Music was a constant in his life, and he found joy in attending concerts and sharing those experiences with others. He had a deep appreciation for art and literature, always drawn to creativity and expression.
His greatest passion was riding his Harley. As a proud member of United Valor MC and the Patriot Guard Riders, Timothy found not just a hobby, but a brotherhood and a purpose. He was deeply committed to advocating for veterans and their families, as well as supporting his community through charitable work—a value rooted in his early years in Boy Scouts.
Timothy will be remembered for the way he loved people. He never met a stranger and would give his last dollar or the shirt off his back to anyone in need. His heart for others was as big as his appetite, his bear hugs unforgettable, and his laughter truly infectious. To know him was to be welcomed, accepted, and cared for without hesitation.
A final ride in Timothy’s honor will take place on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM, beginning at Combest Funeral Home and proceeding to the United Valor MC Clubhouse. All are welcome to join in riding with Timothy one last time and to share in remembering the life he lived and the love he gave so freely.
Though his life was far too short, Timothy’s impact will live on in every life he touched, every mile ridden in his memory, and every act of kindness done in his name. He will forever ride beside those who loved him.
