Tomilee "Tomi" Engle

Tomilee (Tomi) Engle, 85, of Tahoka, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024. Tomi was born on March 11, 1939, in Bangs, TX to the late T.M. and Vera (Ragan) Phillips. She moved to Tahoka in 1949 with her family and has been a West Texas native for most of her life. Tomi loved Country Music and would travel around Texas to festivals and events. She loved making Jalapeno Jellies and woodworking.

Survivors include her Children - Mike (Stacy) Engle of Tahoka, and Janie Engle of Tahoka. Grandchildren – Melissa (Justin) Whitley of Tahoka, Cory (Angie) Engle of Lubbock, Kelly (Justin) Harvey of Tahoka, and Tinnie Engle of Hobbs, NM. She had many great grandchildren & great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, a son – Mitch Engle, a Grandson – Jake Engle and 3 Sisters – Jo Swinford, Mildred Hall, and Pat Bingham.
