Tyler Brown

Tyler John Brown, a beloved son, brother, father, and uncle left this world on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at the age of 29. Born on January 4, 1996, in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Tyler was a proud graduate of Lubbock Christian High School in 2014. He worked at a local floral shop, where he nurtured a love for plants and shared his passion with his family. His independent spirit was matched only by his deep love for people. He had an extraordinary ability to accept everyone just as they were, always seeing the good in every situation. His heart was as open as his arms, ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Tyler embodied kindness and compassion.

He enjoyed sports throughout his youth—especially baseball. Beyond his work and hobbies, he loved tinkering with things, always seeking to understand how they worked or dreaming up new projects to embark upon. He found solace in spending time outdoors fishing.

Tyler is survived by his loving parents, Mike and Dwayna Brown and siblings, Tori Talley and husband Tyler, and Timothy Brown, all of Lubbock; girlfriend, Georgia Pierce, of Lubbock; children, Ali Brown and Penelopy Herrin of Panama City, Florida and Noah and Ashlyn Pierce of Lubbock; his precious niece, Jeffie Talley; as well as a many extended friends and family all over the world.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Lois Bruce, Kenneth Brown, and JB and Lavonne Banks.

The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Venue on Broadway, 2202 Broadway. Services are scheduled for 10:00 am, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at the Family Life Center at Sunset Church of Christ. Burial will be private.
