William Carroll Beatty, III

William Carroll Beatty III passed away December 13, 2023, in Tangerang, Indonesia. He was born December 4, 1985, to William Carroll Jr. and Kelly Rae (Hindes) Beatty, in Lubbock, TX. William graduated from Lubbock-Cooper High School class of 2004, and continued his education at South Plains, earning a degree in Applied Sciences, and graduating in 2009.

William moved to Indonesia in 2015, in 2016, he married Jehizkya Upik. There, he was a member of the Protestant Church of Indonesia Mawar Sharoon Church Gading Serpone. He worked as an english teacher in various parts of Indonesia.

William was a kind, loving, and dedicated husband and father, with a big heart and an affinity for teaching. His impact was felt by all who were close to him - students, fellow teachers, friends, and family. Will’s passion for teaching led him to work for the distinguished Stella Maris International School.

William was preceded in death by Ernest Christy Hindes and Donna Jean Wyvell. Those remaining to cherish his many memories are, his wife, Jehizkya Upik Beatty, a son, Javier Gabreil Carroll Beatty, a daughter, Jillian Michaelya Caroline Beatty (all residing in, Tangerang, Indonesia), his father, William Carroll Beatty Jr., his mother, Kelly Rae Beatty, and 2 brothers, Christopher Rae Beatty (all of Lubbock) and Michael Paul Beatty of San Antonio.

The family of William Carroll Beatty, III, invite you to join them in honoring and celebrating his life with a memorial gathering from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at Combest Family Funeral Homes, Lubbock, in the Oak Crest Suite, 2210 Broadway, Lubbock, TX 79401.
