William Lee Richardson

William Lee Richerson of Abernathy passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the age of 53.  He was born March 10, 1960 in Lubbock to the late Truman and Sharon (Humphrey) Richerson.  William graduated from Abernathy High School in 1978 and worked as an officer for the Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office for more than 10 years and as a truck driver. 

Those left to cherish his memory are three sons, Jarrod of Sacramento, CA, Travis of Abernathy, and James of West Point, NY; and three brothers, Roy, Tom, and Danny, all of Abernathy.

Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 27, 2013 at North Side Baptist Church in Abernathy.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Crystal River Ministries, 4401 32^nd Street, Lubbock, TX 79410.
