Zachary Keesee

November 3, 1989 — May 30, 2023

Dallas

Zach was born in Odessa, TX and grew up in Brownfield and Meadow, TX. He began school in Brownfield, but later moved to Meadow Schools, graduating from Meadow High School in 2008. In high school Zach participated in football, basketball, track, and golf as well as UIL One Act Plays. After high school he attended Texas Tech, later transferring to Lubbock Christian University graduating in 2012.

Zach's work career began in Terry County as a farmhand, then while in college, to banking in Lubbock, and in more recent years in the commercial roofing business in DFW.

His loves were Dallas Stars hockey, Indianapolis Colts football and his Border Collie, Juno.

He was proceeded in death by maternal grandparents Jack and Lena Mae Simmons and cousin, Jeremy Waller.

Zach is survived by his brother Andrew Keesee, parents Judy and Kelly Keesee, Grandparents Shirley and Bill Keesee, aunts and uncles Sherry and Ron Waller, Kellye and Jimmy Simmons, Debra and Kirby Keesee, Tonna and Kreg Keesee, and cousins Austin Keesee, Skylar Keesee Pokluda, Kandace Keesee Welch, Kolton Keesee, Josh Simmons and Jordan Simmons. And finally, cousin but more like a sister, Jessica Waller Bexley.

In lieu of flowers, Zach preferred any ministry to children, those less fortunate souls, and pet shelters.
