Her first career was as a women’s ready-to-wear buyer in Madison, Wisconsin, where she met and married John Aure Buesseler, M.D., on December 26, 1959.

Chon Hernandez of Iraan passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014 at the age of 87.  He was born September 27, 1926 in Mexico to the late Victor and Magdalena (Barrientos) Hernandez.  Chon worked as a rancher in Iraan before retiring. He married Maria Garcia in 1954 and they were members of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Sheffield.
