Ronald “Ronnie” W. Beck Jr., 57, of Lubbock, Texas passed away on November 24, 2022. He was born on November 4, 1965, in Amarillo, Texas. Ronnie was raised by Victor and Mary Lomeli. He was a member of the Austin State Supported Living Center before transferring to Lubbock State Supported Living Center. She was born on April 8, 1960, in El Salvador and raised by her father Jose Manuel Munoz and mother Susana Munoz. While in El Salvador, Myrna worked for many years as a nurse in El Hospital Rosales. Val (Wasco) Nissley, 83, passed away November 22, 2022, in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 19, 1939, in Goldberg, Germany. Val went on to become a Registered Nurse. Val was preceded in death by her mother, Gertrud Helene Stigler. Those left to cherish her memories are her son, Jason Carrizales, 3 grandchildren, Yelissa, Taylor, and Jay, and an Aunt, Julia Nieves. Houston Wayne Powell, born in Paducah, Texas, to Homer and Hester Houston Powell, died November 19, 2022, at the age of 86. As a farm boy, he attended several schools on the South Plains, ultimately graduating from Lubbock High School.
